4th-6th grades
Upper grade students are able to come to the library to check out books on a daily basis. Library time will be scheduled by your child’s teacher for information literacy classes, research projects, and classroom checkout time. Your child will learn about Melville Dewey and The Big Six this year in the library. We will be integrating the curriculum along with technology as well.
Kinder - 3rd grades
Kinder students will come to the library with their teacher once a week for a storytime activity. After the Winter Break, Kinder students will begin to check out books. Kinder students will be introduced to the “world of the library”
First, second and third grade students will come to the library with their teacher once a week for a storytime activity. Storytime is linked to the classroom curriculum and will provide enrichment activities for the children. Students will also check out books during this time period. They may also check out books during the school day during open checkout.
